Accountant & Analyst

We are seeking an accountant & Analysts who has worked in the building and construction industry, who is looking to advance their career and grow with the company. This role will be reporting directly to Senior Management. The successful candidate will work in tandem with the accounting department, project managers and field superintendent.     Essential Functions & Skills

    · Performs basic fiscal, accounting, and general ledger functions. Prepares financial forecasts and research.

    · Lead or participate in special projects, ad-hoc analysis, or system implementations related to cost accounting, inventory management, or process optimization.

    · Analyzes purchase price and other manufacturing variances throughout the month.

    · Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans by providing cost-related insights and projections.

    · Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.

    · Analyze standard costs of projects and services and calculate activity rates at full cost absorption. Lead accounting for the life cycle of assigned contracts and projects for both pre – engineered and structural jobs.

    · Project billing required. (Experienced in AIA billing).

    · Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    · High School Diploma – Required. (Post Secondary Education – Preferred).

    · 2 – 3 years min, 3-5 years preferred. (Construction background is a plus).

    · Proficiency using ERP systems, preferred, TEKLA, WKS2000, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    · Diligence: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

    · Ability to meticulously follow established procedures and standards to maintain precision and consistency throughout the department process to achieve company-related goals and to ensure customer satisfaction.

    · Collaborator: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others as part of a multidisciplinary team.

General Production Laborer

FULL TIME

The job will include lifting to 50 pounds unassisted, bending, squatting, measuring, repetitious movements, working in one position for extended periods, and the ability to read printed directions and graphical layouts. Grinding and finishing various welds and steel products; physical stamina necessary.

    Quality control of every worked-on product.

    Other general assignments when grinding may not be needed.


    Performing routine checks and maintenance as they pertain to responsibilities of this position.

    Applying red oxide primer to the finished product and loading onto truck trailer for shipment.


    Ability to understand a project’s welding requirements to correctly select & utilize a welding process.


    Additional production and warehouse duties as required in the production process.

    This position has no supervisory responsibility.

    This position works in a typical warehouse environment.


    Standing for long periods, bending and kneeling daily.


    Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


    Material Handle / Chaser – Locate detail for jobs and provide fitters material in a timely and organized manner.


    General & yard shop cleanup.


    Minium Qualification:

    · Must have strong math skills.

    · Ability to accurately read a tape line.

    · Some welding experience.

    · Ability to read structural steel and misc. metals such as rails and stairs blueprints.

    · 3 Year experience laying out and fitting required.

    · Proficient in the use of iPads and Microsoft Office.

    · High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

    · Forklift experience is a plus.

    · Read and understand a tape measure.

Operate and process material with various types of steel fabrication machinery in the fabrication plant.

CDL Driver

FULL TIME

Transport raw and processed materials to and from fabrication plants, job sites, and more.

    We are looking for a metal fabricator / CDL driver. Driving is typically local / regional using company stake trucks. Hours may vary but will typically be 6:30am to 3:00pm plus frequent overtime and early starts.


    When not driving, you will be working in the shop performing metal fabrication including loading and unloading of trucks, cutting, grinding, drilling, painting and other typical activities of a metal craftsman. Welding skills are a plus.


    Time spent driving versus metal fabrication will vary greatly based on workload. You can expect metal fabrication will make up 50% or more of your time. Metal fabrication experience is required.


    Minium Qualification:

    Must have strong math skills.

    Ability to accurately read a tape line.

    High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

    Forklift experience is a plus.

    Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.

    Must have CDL A / CDL B.
